Spirit Week 2025

Celebrating Our Team for Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week

At Lakeside Animal Hospital, we believe every member of our team deserves to be celebrated, not just for their hard work but for the care and compassion they bring to every patient.

From October 12 through October 18, 2025, we combined Veterinary Technician Week and Team Appreciation Week for a full week of fun, themed dress-up days, and delicious treats to show our gratitude.

From trading scrubs for style to showing off team spirit, our staff went all out to make the week one to remember. Here’s a look back at how we celebrated.

Monday, October 13, 2025 – Dress to Impress Day

We started the week by trading in scrubs for style. The team came dressed in their Sunday best for Dress to Impress Day, bringing fashion and flair to the clinic while caring for our furry patients. It was a great kickoff to the week’s festivities and a reminder that confidence looks good on everyone.

Tuesday, October 14, 2025 – Nerd Day

Geeking out over good health and happy pets! Nerd Day brought out everyone’s inner genius, with clever T-shirts, suspenders, and plenty of laughter. Breakfast from Dechra kept the team energized as we celebrated the smarts behind great veterinary care.

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 – Hoedown Day

We went country for the day with boots, hats, flannels, and all. Hoedown Day had the clinic saying “yeehaw” as the team embraced their inner cowboys and cowgirls. Southern comfort treats made the day even sweeter as we celebrated the hardworking crew that keeps Lakeside running.

Thursday, October 16, 2025 – Sports and Jersey Day

We hit it out of the park in both veterinary care and team spirit on Jersey Day. Staff sported their favorite team colors while Merck’s espresso bar kept the energy high. The competition was friendly, but the pride in our work and one another was clear across the board.

Friday, October 17, 2025 – Pajama Day

After a busy week, comfort took over with Pajama Day. The team stayed cozy while enjoying an Italian lunch from Pumpkin, making Friday the perfect mix of relaxation and appreciation before heading into the weekend.

Saturday, October 18, 2025 – Wacky Tacky Day

We closed out the celebration with bold colors, clashing patterns, and plenty of laughter for Wacky Tacky Day. The week ended with a pizza party, wrapping up six days of joy, camaraderie, and appreciation for the people who make Lakeside Animal Hospital such a special place.

Thank You to Our Veterinary Technicians and Team

Veterinary Technician Week is more than a celebration; it’s a reminder of the heart and dedication behind every appointment, every patient, and every success story. Thank you to our amazing technicians and entire Lakeside team for your skill, compassion, and teamwork. You make a difference every single day.
